What is Generation 2 Generation?
God gives us assurance that His provision will be passed from one generation to the next. The promises that God made to the patriarchs are still provision for the believer through Christ today. God’s promises are extended to everyone willing to lay down their life and accept the life of Jesus Christ. Accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ is the insurance policy that enables believers to receive:
- Provision for your needs
- Provision for your seed
- Divine protection from the enemy
- Hope for tomorrow
The concept of G2G can be found throughout the word of God. In it God entrusts one generation with fresh revelation of his person so they can sow that seed into the next generation of leaders. This ensures that the Word of God, the acts of God and the character of God are passed from the fathers, to the children and the children’s children. Generation 2 Generation Ministries will seek to put the world in remembrance of God’s awesome signs and wonders.
The Mission is:
- To present a fresh new perspective on the love God has for the world.
- To propel the truth of God by challenging each generation to fulfill their purpose.
- To empower people who will impart Godly principles to the next generation.
- To encourage present generations to be more active in the lives of future generations.
- To identify and equip those who are called to carry the baton.
- To impact neighborhoods and communities with Godly mentors.
The Means
Traditional and non-traditional avenues will be pursued to attain our mission. Traditional ministry has been limited in its ability to reach all generations for many reasons. G2G Ministries will strive to destroy the communication gap that the enemy has set up between the generations. Creative ways of communication will be necessary to break down these walls. Some methods that will be used to accomplish the mission are as follows:
