Judah International Ministries, founded in 1837, is a multi-cultural community service ministry in the state of Illinois. The author Nehemiah pleads that someone "revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, which are burned." Judah International Ministries values each person as a vital building block of the community, believing that love, nurturing, and truth expressed through caring and committed people can revive the outcasts of society from the desolate waste places. Judah's mission includes a community resource network of families and organizations that act as a wall of fortification to help stop the destruction of communities. A 'holistic' approach is provided that focuses on healing the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each person. Outreach ministries to name a few include; MECA, a state registered school, pre-K through 8th grade; Such Were Some of You, a recovery program for substance and physical abuse; Helping Hands, a community food pantry; bible classes at Pekin Federal Prison; a quarterly meal served to the senior citizens, Young at Heart Club in Mackinaw and ELIM Bible classes.
