Divine Design
"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4
How am I defined?
This is such an important question in our lives as women. How we are defined impacts greatly who we will become. God called each of us to walk Him that is Divinely Designed. There are so many different roles that women play and we are so often are defined by our responsibilities. or difficulty rather than by what God has destined for us to be.
When considering that we can be "called" a lot of things in our daily life, we must understand that God has divinely designed our purpose prior to our circumstance. The word design is defined as, “adaptation of means to a preconceived end; to intend for a definite purpose”. Also divine is defined as, “proceeding from God”. So Divine Design is being intended for a definite purpose by God. Also understanding that this definite purpose will be accomplished by an adaptation of us, through good, bad, and sometimes very interesting circumstances of life! Understanding that our experiences are actually designed by God and not just a set of difficult circumstances can help us embrace difficulty and joy to become who He has called us to be.
